Laura Schmitz, PA-C

Laura Schmitz is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with eight years of experience in primary care, internal medicine, and urgent care. She treats a wide variety of medical conditions with a focus on disease prevention and women’s health. 

Laura’s experience in a male-dominated profession fueled her passion of empowering women about their health and aiding them in achieving their wellness objectives. Described by her patients as highly approachable, Laura possesses a gentle demeanor and employs a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to healthcare.

She grew up in Green Bay, WI. She attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for her undergraduate studies and then went on to Carroll University in Waukesha, WI, where she earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Laura and her family moved to Florida in 2016. 

Laura enjoys dancing, swimming, playing hockey, and reading. She also loves spending quality time with her husband, children, and dog!
