Dr. Bettina D Schutzbach, MD is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician in the Lakewood Ranch- Sarasota area. She has over 10 years of experience in primary care, urgent care, inpatient and outpatient medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina, where she was Co-Chief Resident in 2017. Prior to this, she graduated with High Honors from Ross University School of Medicine in 2014. Medical school clerkships were completed in Miami (Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Health System and Cleveland Clinic Westin FL), Chicago (Saint Anthony’s Hospital) and Detroit (Pontiac General Hospital). Dr Schutzbach, previously Dr. Rodriguez, is from Puerto Rico but grew up in Orlando and went to the University of Central Florida for her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Microbiology. Dr. Schutzbach is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish.
